Who We Are & What This Policy Covers

This policy applies to the website at https://elenatonietto.com/ and to the personal information Elena Tonietto and NU-U Health & Fitness (“we”, “us”, “our”) collect when you contact us, book or receive coaching, subscribe to updates, or otherwise interact with us online or in person in North Bay and the Nipissing District, or online across Canada and the United States.

  • Booking, coaching and client records: details you choose to share so we can coach you safely and effectively, such as your fitness goals, activity level, and general wellness information you provide voluntarily. (We do not require sensitive medical records; please share only what you are comfortable sharing, and always consult your physician before starting a new exercise or nutrition program.)
  • Email list subscribers: your name and email address if you sign up for newsletters, tips, or promotions.
  • Payment information: where applicable, payments are processed by third-party providers; we do not store your full card details on our website.
  • Website usage data: information collected automatically through cookies and analytics tools, such as your IP address, browser type, device, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site. See the Cookies section below.

Why We Collect It (Our Purposes)

We collect and use your personal information for clear, limited purposes, including to:

  • Respond to your enquiries and questions;
  • Schedule, deliver, and follow up on coaching, classes, training, and wellness services (in person and online);
  • Process bookings and payments;
  • Send you newsletters, wellness tips, and promotional offers where you have consented (see Email Marketing & CASL below);
  • Understand and improve how our website and services perform;
  • Keep records and meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations.

We will not use your information for a new purpose that is materially different from the one you agreed to without asking for your consent again.

NU-U Health & Fitness is based in Canada and this Privacy Policy is governed by Canadian law (PIPEDA). If you access our services from the United States, your personal information is collected and processed in Canada (and by service providers that may store data in the U.S.). We protect the personal information of all clients — Canadian and American — with the same care described above.
